Thiruvali, earlier known as Aalinadu is located about 5 K.M. from Sirkazhi. Eeventhough Thiruvali and Thirunagari are two different temples Azhwars praised these two as One Divyadesam put together as Thiruvali-Thirunagari.  In Thiruvali, Moolavar is blessing as Lakshmi Narasimharin His Sitting Posture facing East, holding Goddess Lakshmi on His Right Lap, which is very unique here, as normally He holds Thayar in His Lefet Lap. Thayar is blessing as Amrudhakadavalli. There are shrines for Nammalwar, Kulasekarar, Periyalwar, Thirumazhisai Alwar, Sreeman Ramanujar, Manavala Mamunigal and Poorna Mahirishi.  

The king heeded himself and got saved from his enemies. Later, the king tried to identity of the cow shepherd boy, and came to know through his astrologers that the boy was none other than Lord Krishna himself. The king decided to build a temple for Lord Krishna, as a mark of gratitude, near the jack tree, which was popularly worshipped as "Ammachi Plavu" (Mother Jack Tree) as it protected the king from his enemies. The remnants of the tree is still preserved there. Neyyattinkara Sree Krishna Swamy Temple is being worshipped as "Guruvayur of South Kerala". The main entrance of the temple, devotees can worship a scene " Geethopathesam", Lord Krishna teaching Bhagavad Gita to Arjuna. It is believed that the ghee, made in the Ashram of Sage Aghasthya on the top of the mountain over flowed and became a river of ghee in to the town. Neyyar in Malayalam means “River of Ghee”. Neyathin Kara means “The Banks of Neyyar”. The temple of Lord Krishna is situated on the banks of Neyyar. There is a ghat in to the river from the temple
